In my Visual Elements collection, I aimed to explore the different and unique ways to capture visual elements like lines and colour. By focusing on these elements, each image possesses the power to evoke emotion, and introspection to the viewers. Using photography as a form of visual storytelling, I hope the audience may immerse themselves in the little, intricate details and subtle nuances of the world around us.
For my Perception of Depth collection, I delved into the interesting interplay between foreground, midground, and background to create images that transcend the two-dimensional space of photography. By playing around with the focal length and framing of each photo, I can manipulate the viewer’s perception, allowing them to focus on a certain subject and inviting them to experience the depth and dimensionality of the world in a new light.
For my Event Photography collection, I strived to encapsulate the energy, emotion, and candour of the foreign workers during the event. In people photography, every photograph tells a unique story of someone, capturing the fleeting moments, exciting interactions and raw emotion shared between people during the event. Through these shots, viewers are transported to the heart of the action, allowing them to relive the magic and atmosphere of the occasion long after the event has ended.
